Rainy poly original paper illustration by Lucas

$15.00

Original collage on 4x6 wood panel made by 15-year old artist, Lucas.

A little roly poly takes shelter beneath a leaf atop of pile of pebbles and moss. The brilliant blue sky and bright green leaves are a beautiful contrast. Whether you call them pill bugs, sow bugs, isopods, or roly polies, I think we can all agree that this is adorable. A sweet reminder of who may be seeking shelter beneath our feet.

The paper used in this collage has been printed one by one on a gelli plate with acrylic paints. Those cool papers end up giving the collages/illustrations a painterly feel and ensures that no piece can ever be duplicated exactly.

The sides on this piece are covered with paper. It is varnished with a matte varnish with an intentional but slight texture. This piece could be framed or can be hung as-is.

Shipping to the United States only. Sorry, I can’t ship internationally at this time.
